SEAMLESS HIGHLIGHT
Only a simple structure outlines the view, a little like a picture frame, helping to determine scale or define your viewpoint. The function is not visible, but is perceptible when the breeze blows into the room.
The architecture of the house has been adapted to the demanding conditions of the land: the steep slope is both a challenge and an opportunity. The interplay of the landscape and the house is thus even more integral than is usually the case in construction projects. The environment and building can only exist together, not independently of one another, and they are not intended to.
The focus of the architects was clearly on the external sightlines, which open to the observer: the exciting interaction between interior and exterior. The architectural space offers the residents a high-quality locale that draws its own strength from the views and the surrounding nature. The large volume of the interior is a direct response to the endless space beyond the sliding doors.
